The ribbon ceremony, opening the Exhibition Centre, was performed by (left): Krzysztof Klicki (President of the Kolporter Holding, Owner of the Kolporter Capital Group), Janusz Mikuła (Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), Stanisław Dąbrowa (Vice Voivode of the Silesian Voivodship), Janusz Steinhoff (Chairman of the Board of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, Chairman of the Council of Expo Silesia), Kazimierz Górski (Mayor of Sosnowiec), Tomasz Raczyński (President of Kolporter EXPO)
