expo silesia - a new exhibition centre

Expo Silesia is a new facility on the map of Polish trade fair centres, located in the city of Sosnowiec - the Silesian conurbation.

The trade fair centre, taking up an area of more than 17 hectares, will be excellently accessible by car and public transport. International airports, motorways, expressways, enormous industrial agglomeration - all of them located nearby - provide great exhibition opportunities.

Among the facilities of the trade fair centre will be:
- modern exhibition pavilions of more than 30,000 m², featuring special platforms for presentations of heavy machines and other exhibits
- 35,000 m² of outdoor exhibition area
- 1,500 parking spaces
- conference and congress halls
- restaurant and shopping complex
- four-star hotel

The development of Expo Silesia will consist of a few stages. The first one will consist in preparations of:
- 13,000 m² of exhibition space in an air-conditioned pavilion equipped with all the facilities required by exhibitors
- 20,000 m² of outdoor exhibition area
- 700 parking spaces
- conference rooms of a capacity of 400 seats, which can be arranged depending on the needs. As one large hall, they can be used for organizing banquets and other accompanying events

The first fair events will be held in Expo Silesia in January 2008.

The architectural structure of Expo Silesia makes it possible to hold a few trade fairs simultaneously.
